Katie & Ryan got married on a hot day in June, but let me tell you, the views and details of their stunning day made up for the heat. Every moment of their day was filled with thought, love, and support. The entire day family + friends smiled with tears in their eyes as they helped Katie & Ryan celebrate their love.
Katie & Ryan hosted their wedding weekend at Showalter's Orchard and Greenhouse in Timberville, VA. From the cute country store, to the renovated greenhouse, to the rolling hills of apple trees -- the views did not disappoint. The greenhouse is a stunning event space full of natural light and has the sweetest ambiance for an intimate evening celebration.

Detail photos are one of my favorite parts of a wedding day. While the bride's details tend to be a little bit more exciting, grooms matter too!! Below are some images that I love of Ryan getting ready with his groomsmen. Ryan attended VMI, so I had the honor of photographing his class ring!
Katie & Ryan chose to wait until their ceremony to see each other. However, before walking down the aisle Katie did a first look with her dad. Cue the water works! It was such a sweet and emotional moment that I am honored to have captured for this family. Parents on a wedding day hold a special place in my heart.
Katie looked stunning walking down the aisle to meet her soon-to-be husband. His reaction was priceless and if anyone had a dry eye in the crowd, they didn't anymore. Surrounded by their loved ones Katie & Ryan said 'I do' with beautifully written vows, and were married by Ryan's sister -- so sweet!
