An intimate backyard wedding on Hayden Lake, a dream team of vendors, a detail loving bride, and COLOR -- name a better combo!! You can't, because J+K's wedding was legit. I loved every second of it. Every moment of their day was well thought out and perfectly executed. Kelsey had a vision and man did she bring it to life. Wow, such a stunning day!
Okay, so know that you know how obsessed I am with these two...let's start at the beginning of their day!
Kelsey got ready at the CDA Resort. If you have ever heard of Lake Coeur d'Alene, you probably also have heard about the resort. It made the perfect location for details and getting ready photos before making the quick drive to Hayden Lake for the wedding festivities!
The balcony off of their room made for some swoon worthy bridal portraits. Overlooking the lake, with a light mist of rain....thankfully we were able to capture those signature CDA views while also under a cover.
Kelsey put so much thought into her details and as a photographer I appreciate this more than words will ever be able to express. So often brides see detail photos on instagram or pinterest and they don't realize the work that goes into make those magical photos and aspects of the wedding. Kelsey knew what she wanted and girlfriend delivered, even down to purchasing vintage Idaho stamps for her flat lay photos. A girl after my own heart.

As a wedding gift, Kelsey got Jeffrey a cameo from one of their favorite people on the reality TV show, 90 Day Fiancé. This was such a fun idea! I have actually never heard of cameo until this gift exchange, do I live under a rock?! Haha.
Seriously though, such a fun gift idea.
We were prepared for rain but the sun came out to party!!! Blue skies & blue mountains.
Such a joy to work with Nick Grow for this celebration. Nick is so talented and I truly believe that nothing beats live music. I think it makes a gathering feel more personal and intimate.
Could they be any more beautiful?! No. The answer is no.
A moment for Kelsey's bouquet. Give me a sec while I pick my jaw up OFF OF THE FLOOR. This wild, whimsical, huge, colorful bouquet was straight out of my dreams. The florist, Lily, is one of my favorites to work with!
Again with the details! These place cards are biodegradable and contain wildflower seeds! I already stuck mine in my garden!
It's not a PNW wedding without something huckleberry!

Jeff and Kelsey wanted their day to be a garden party with all of their favorite people. In lieu of dancing, they treated their guests to lawn games, a vintage camper photo booth, wood fired pizza, and a s'mores!
Cannot handle how perfect this vintage camper photo booth is!!! This is such a fun addition to a wedding or party! Not only is it fun, but you get to take home your printed photos as a keepsake.
Coeur d'Alene Photo Bus has a cute VW bus as well as the camper pictured!
And we wrapped up the evening by sneaking off for a few more portraits...this time by the water!
